Many people have cracked heels. It is not a very serious problem, but it is a problem all the same.

Cracked heels usually have the people who have a skin that is prone to it. Also they don't use creams and such on there feet.

It depends on your diet as well - people who eat balanced food usually escape this problem. The food must be rich with vitamins and minerals, it is very important for skin.

Usually when you are lacking some vitamins and minerals in your food, the skin is the first to show it. The skin, the nails, the hairs are all indicators that show us what problems do you have in your organism.

There are many factors that combined cause cracked heels - it can be weight, spending too much time on your foot, uncomfortable footwear with open heels, a skin that is prone to drying, too thick skin on the heels, unbalanced food, some mineral and vitamin deficit in your organism...

So, how to avoid or heal it:

Vitamin E does work wonders for skin. Choose creams that contain vitamin E, the food that you eat better contain it too.

Drink milk each day - it too makes wonders for skin and generally is very good for providing necessary minerals, proteins and provitamins.

Choose soft shoes, soft socks, if you can - choose shoes that are closed on the heels.

Work on your weight, if you are spending to much time on your feet - try to reduce that time.

Massages your heels with oils, we recommend sea-buckthorn oil once a day during a week. You can forget about cracked heels for quite time after that. They usually sold it in some drugstores.

Do not think that it is unimportant problem and it will go away by itself. It can be so. But like many health problems - when ignoring it can become a serious and unpleasant problem. Like hurting too much to stand, bleeding and making impossible to walk on hard surfaces.

So don't ignore it. Some creams and oils each day, and the problem will not get a chance to transform into a big one.
