Holidays without gaining weight

You must especially avoid alcohol in too large quantities. A product consumed with alcohol leads to greater calorie intake if eaten on an empty stomach. Drink a drink to accompany a slice of foie gras for example, provides more calories than these two ingredients consumed separately.

The foie gras could be replaced by oysters, a food that is not fatty, and is the one that brings the most iron. This strengthens the body, even bringing some preventive effects against influenza.

The snacks, like chips and crackers, are also proscribed. Instead, it would be better to serve blinis made from oat bran, served with salmon, cherry tomatoes and endive. The blinis from oat bran are valuable from a nutritional point of view because they "trap" the calories. The food consumed during the meal that follows thus provides reduced calorie amounts.

To make blinis with oat bran, you should mix a tablespoon and a half of oat bran, a tablespoon of cheese, white egg, a pinch of salt and some sesame seeds. This dough is grilled as small patties, two to three minutes on the pan.

Finally, after the excessive nutrient parties, it would be better to reduce alcohol consumption and walk more than usual. Exotic fruits like mango, kiwi and papaya are recommended because they are effectively detoxifying the body.
