Google Trends shows the Flu pandemic influenza A
Google is watching the flu. A user has a curve representing an indicator of the number of search terms over time. The time scale proposed by the tool goes back until 1 January 2004 and goes until two days before the current day.
It also has access to news related to the particular curve to draw conclusions about the influence of such an event on the interest of users on it.
Results provided by the new tool are detailed with graphs maps and detailed statistics. They highlight the most common queries, but also those whose popularity is increasing most rapidly. The service is multilingual.
A flu epidemic is now under virtual surveillance of Google Flu Trends which was launched this week in thirteen European countries. The operation is simple, simply log on www.google.org/flutrends and observed with a curve and a map in real-time changes in the level of virus contamination.
"Google tracking flu" also details the research most often linked to the term and a map with regions where the search expression is sought the most (after the global, national or Regional). You can enter up to 5 terms and compare their evolution.
