The "failure" affects sexual self-confidence

Nine out of ten men think that lack of sexual confidence adversely affects other aspects of their life (social, professional, family), according to a survey conducted in 12 European countries.

65% of male respondents noted a decrease or loss of self-confidence and self esteem after a insufficiently rigid erection during sexual intercourse. According to this survey of 8576 men and 1003 women 47% are less confident in life in general.

One in three men does not even know the definition of "erectile dysfunction".

66% of respondents believe that erectile dysfunction is an inability to obtain and maintain a sufficient erection. But this remains true with large disparities among respondents of different countries (Spain 79% Finland: 77%, Italy 71%, France: 67%, Germany 47%, Turkey: 34 %).

According to the survey, 30% of men 25 to 64 years do not get a rigid erection and three out of five men would like a more rigid and more sustainable erection.

Faced with the "failure" of their sexual partner, specialists recommend that women avoid offensive actions or otherwise lenient "not serious". The sex therapists advise them to focus on their own pleasure, a situation that allows the man no longer be in the limelight and can help break the deadlock.

Survey was conducted online with respondents from Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Romania, Turkey and United Kingdom, altogether among 4208 men and 4368 women aged 25 and 64.
